Mustang Vacuum Systems was formed in 2005 by combining experienced teams of capital equipment designers with manufacturing and vacuum deposition experts. This core team of dynamic entrepreneurs has created a global brand awareness and recognition as a Tier 1 supplier to the vacuum deposition industry group. Identifying, engineering and supplying the solutions for industry challenging thin film production processes has driven Mustang to bring value adding capabilities to tackle next generation processes such as thin film solar, electroplating replacement, flexible circuits and thin film batteries.

Robert Choquette – Vice President of Technology

25 Years of engineering, design and manufacturing of vacuum deposition systems. He is an innovator, holding numerous patents in the field of vacuum deposition. Robert leads a team of established process, software and hardware engineering experts with hands-on capabilities extending to all aspects of vacuum systems.

Dr. Josh Mangum—Applications Manager

13 years of vacuum deposition and materials characterization experience in both high volume manufacturing and capital equipment markets.  Josh leads a team of scientists, engineers, and technicians in a number of continuous improvement and new process development programs. He received his B.S. Chemical Engineering degree from North Carolina State University, a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida and holds 6 international patents.
